METCON Research and KD Engineering is an international consulting group that delivers a broad range of services including analytical testing, metallurgical research, and process engineering design for the global minerals and mining industry. The Group is headquartered in Tucson, Arizona with project locations throughout the world including; U.S.A, Canada, Mexico, China, Panama, Venezuela, Romania, and Peru. The Group's primary focus is base and precious metals for the development of mineral processing facilities including crushing, grinding, flotation and heap leach circuits. Services include sample preparation, fire assay, atomic absorption/ICP analysis, hydrometallurgy testing, beneficiation studies, process flow sheet design, feasibility studies, detail design and engineering, procurement, and construction management.
METCON Research is dedicated to providing quality metallurgical and analytical research services to the mining, environmental and geotechnical fields in the industry. Excellence is achieved through the implementation of state-of-the-art technologies in atomic absorption/ICP analysis, hydrometallurgy testing, and mineral beneficiation studies that focus on the project and client needs.
Emphasis is on the recovery and refining of metals including gold, silver, copper, zinc, molybdenum, uranium and other commodities. On-site testing, technical assistance and auditing services are provided world wide. The laboratory facility is fitted with equipment designed to perform sample preparations, solution analysis, mineral processing tests, and extractive metallurgical tests.
